10th National Congress HSMM

Dear colleagues and friends,

The Hellenic Society of Medical Mycology (HSMM) organizes the 10th National Congress entitled “Developments in epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of fungi”, which will take place on 13-15 December 2024 at the hotel Airotel Stratos Vasilikos in Athens.

The HSMM, founded in 2001, is a modern scientific society with a long-term contribution to the continuing education of medical doctors and other health care scientists. Conferences, scientific meetings, workshops and tutorials organizing by the Society are a point of reference for Medical Mycology in Greece, contributing to the dissemination of medical knowledge and further improving the level of care provided to patients.

The ambition of the Organizing and Scientific Committees is the 10th National Conference of the HSMM to bring together, in physical presence, medical doctors of different specialties and others scientists working in the field of Medical Mycology, with the aim of exchange opinions in a scientific and friendly environment. For this purpose, the Program includes Educational Sessions and Lectures, as well as interesting clinical cases and diagnostic problems. Our belief is that vital communication and immediacy of the conference proceedings will be particularly important for scientific exchange opinions and experiences, as well as for the development of collaborations.

With these thoughts, on behalf of the Executive Board of the HSMM, we await you at the 10th National Conference, hoping to your active participation, so that we can all be informed about modern diagnostics and therapeutic developments regarding fungal infections.
