2nd International Clinical Mycology Master Class

“The 2nd International Clinical Mycology Master Class: Challenges in Diagnosis and Management of Invasive Fungal Diseases” will be held in Izmir, Turkey, on 23-25 November 2017.  The meeting is organized by Center of Expertise in Mycology Radboudumc/CWZ, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Center, Nijmegen, The Netherlands; Turkish Society of Medical Mycology, and European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM).

The master class is intended for clinical microbiologists, medical mycologists, physicians, infectious disease specialists, internists, pediatricians, dermatologists, gynecologists, scientists from academia (or companies), laboratory medicine specialists, postdocs and PhD students who want to improve their knowledge and understanding in the area of clinical mycology.

The meeting will hold 14 conferences given by 12 scientists from Europe, United States, and Turkey.  The conference subjects cover taxonomy, classification, molecular and proteomic diagnostics, antifungal susceptibility testing, candidiasis, aspergillosis, mucormycosis, serum biomarkers, pediatric mycoses, respiratory mycoses, dermatophytoses and Malassezia infections, lab diagnosis of pathogenic fungi, and others.

The course language is English.
