Chris Kosmidis

Chris Kosmidis is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Infectious Diseases in the University of Manchester. He is the Clinical Lead of the National Aspergillosis Centre, UK. He was trained in Internal Medicine in the University of Athens, Greece and in Infectious Diseases in Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. Chris’s clinical interests include all forms of aspergillosis with a focus on chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, and infections in transplant recipients and other immunocompromised hosts. His research interests include respiratory infection, pathogenesis and treatment of chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, clinical trials of new antifungal agents and immunotherapy in aspergillosis.
