On behalf of the Council of the International Immunocompromised Host Society (ICHS) and the local organizing committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 20th ICHS Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Host in Athens, Greece June 17-19, 2018. We encourage all who are interested in the clinical practice and research on infections in immunocompromised host to attend this important conference. Our Scientific Program offers a very robust set of topics that cover a broad spectrum of topics in the field of medicine of the immunocompromised host. We plan to feature keynote lectures on microbiome, mega-data, nano-technology, viral causes of cancer. Phillip Pizzo will be our inaugural key note speaker on the topic “The evolution of infectious disease management in the neutropenic patient: reflections of the last 50 years”.
