The webpage includes information on the scope and scientific themes of the meeting, as well as practical details about the venue, access, and local logistics to support travel planning. Event: Black Yeasts ISHAM WG Workshop

Venue: Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC), Carrer del Carme 47, 08001 Barcelona (Spain)
Themes: (1) Medical mycology; (2) Ecology & phylogenetics; (3) Applied/biotechnological aspects
Programme highlights: Opening address; introductory lectures by Sybren de Hoog (medical mycology), Josepa Gené (ecology & phylogenetics), and Francesc Prenafeta (biotechnology); contributed oral and poster sessions with lightning presentations; poster prizes for young scientists.
Schedule: Full day Thu 22 Oct, and workshop dinner; full day Fri 23 Oct (closing ~18:00).
