Congratulations to Andrew Ullmann, MdB

ECMM Member Andrew J Ullmann, Professor of Medicine at Würzburg University, and eminent clinical mycologist and stem cell transplant specialist, has just been elected Mitglied des Bundestags (MdB, Member of the German Parliament) and is on the move to Berlin. For the first time an infectious diseases specialist becomes MdB. Apart from Infectious Diseases, Andrew Ullmann is board certified in Internal Medicine, Haematology, Oncology and Emergency and Disaster Medicine, so that his view on medicine is quite broad. The patients we care for every day now have a knowledgeable expert voice in Berlin.
