GAFFI Annual report 2020 is available

The ECMM is proud to support of GAFFI. GAFFIs engagement in Africa has been very important. They are most of the way through a diagnostic survey there and expect to report on this in about 2 months. They have identified a small number of countries (ie Guinea and South Sudan) with no fungal diagnostic capability at all, and several countries with only fluconazole among systemic antifungals, including Gabon, R of Congo, Niger and Gambia and possibly others such as CAR, Liberia and Somalia.
