New ECMM Guidline on Rare Yeasts. Public Review

19-06-2020

Dear All,

many of you and/or your society members have contributed to the

Global guideline for the diagnosis and management of invasive infections caused by emerging, uncommon or rare yeasts: An initiative of the ECMM in cooperation with To Be Discussed”

Today, before the 4-week public consultation period begins, we invite you to carefully read the draft (or individual chapters of the draft) and use the respective online form to address any opportunities to improve the guidance document.

The guideline draft document and feedback form can be found here:

https://www.clinicalsurveys.net/uc/admin/5445/?a=&b=

Please pass this email on to those who may be capable of helping with the guidance topic.

Finally, this is the last chance to check whether authors who have contributed significantly have fallen off the author byline.

One more question is whether your society/organization is willing to endorse this guideline.

If that is the case, please feel free to reach out directly to the respective board/representatives. In case of endorsement of the guideline, the ECMM would highly appreciate an electronic letter from an official representative of the entity. Alternatively, the ECMM could also reach out to those societies if you prefer. In that case please provide us with the contact details.

With many thanks for all your help and support.

Sincerely yours,

Sharon C.-A. Chen

John Perfect

Arnaldo L. Colombo

Nelesh P. Govender
