Survey on laboratory capacities for diagnosing Fungal Infection

As with other areas in microbiology, mycology relies on a precise laboratory diagnosis. Even though fungal diseases are emerging, there is a lack of knowledge about clinics’ and hospitals’ mycological diagnostic capacities all over the world.

Together with Alessandro Pasqualotto, FECMM from Brazil and Diego Falci the ECMM has created a survey to find out more about lab based diagnosis of fungal infections around the world.
