Chiara de Groot is currently a PhD candidate at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and Radboudumc. Her research focuses on detection and surveillance methods for Candida auris and other invasive yeast species. Previously, she obtained her master’s degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands.
