Dr Angus Lane holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (2018) and a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (2020), both conferred by James Cook University. Angus began his medical career at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital as a Resident Medical Officer (2019–2022), including secondments to Caboolture Hospital and Cherbourg Hospital. He then progressed to Medical Registrar (2022–2023), before commencing Infectious Diseases Advanced Training in 2024. This includes twelve-month placements at both The Prince Charles Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. His clinical work is complemented by ongoing research into non-tuberculous mycobacteria and therapeutic drug monitoring, with national guideline contributions and academic publications. Angus brings a strong commitment to underserved populations and a collaborative spirit to clinical excellence and public health advancement.
