Zarifa Orta

I graduated from Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 2018 and completed my residency in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 2019 and 2024. In August 2024, I became a board-certified specialist in this field. Since May 2025, I have been working as an Infectious Diseases Specialist at Tekirdag Fehmi Cumalıoglu City Hospital. My clinical and academic interests include the diagnosis and treatment of fungal infections, antimicrobial resistance, and hospital-acquired infections. I am particularly eager to expand my knowledge and network in medical mycology through active participation in YECMM activities. I believe this platform will offer valuable opportunities for collaboration, education, and contributing to the future of fungal infection research in Europe.
