Diptanu Paul

Dr. Diptanu Paul is Assistant professor in Department of Microbiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, India. It is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. He is working as Co-Principal Investigator of Advanced Molecular and Diagnostic Research Centre for fungi in Eastern India and area of interests are Candidemia, Dermatophytes, Rare fungal infections, Fungal Genomics and Antifungal Stewardship. He is a Life member of Indian Society of Medical Mycologists (ISMM), and Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM). He is also member of International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (Young-ISHAM), Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Society of Antimicrobial Stewardship Practices in India (SASPI) and American Society for Microbiology. He has 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in training postgraduate students and microbiologists in medical mycology.
