Bram Spruijtenburg

Bram Spruijtenburg is currently a PhD candidate at the Radboudumc-CWZ Center of Expertise for Mycology, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The research mainly involves molecular and phenotypic investigation of medically import fungi like Candida, Sporothrix and Aspergillus species. Especially whole genome sequencing and antifungal susceptibility testing are often performed to investigate nosocomial transmission and antifungal resistance. Prior to the current position, he was a research technician at the same center for two years.
