Chin Fen NEOH completed her PhD on “Optimising the Use of High-cost Antifungal Agents in Clinical Practice” at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence in 2013. Currently, she works as a senior lecturer at Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia and is the Head of Programme for Master of Pharmacy Practice. Her research interest is in the field of pharmacoeconomics and outcome research, specifically on fungal infections. She has published more than 50 articles in international peer-review journals. Dr Neoh was invited as one of the speakers for the 1st Clinical Mycology Meeting (Sydney, Australia) sharing her research findings on antifungal prophylaxis in solid organ transplantation. In addition, she was invited to write a newsletter for Australian Society of Antimicrobials on the cost-effective option for the treatment of candidaemia and invasive candidiasis in Australia. She is also involved as a contributor for European Confederation of Medical Mycology Guideline for Rare Moulds.
