Maria Vehreschild

Prof. Maria J.G.T. Vehreschild is the Head of Infectious Diseases at Frankfurt University Hospital. In the past, she has contributed considerable efforts to clinical research on invasive fungal infections, specifically invasive mucormycosis. With the foundation of her Clinical Microbiome Research Group in 2015 she has created a stepping stone for assessment of interactions between the world of bacteria and fungi.
