Update on the preparations for the 10th TIMM, 8-11 Oct, Aberdeen, UK
21-09-2021
Dear colleagues,
We hope you are all doing well and are looking forward to the 10th TIMM in Aberdeen.
It would be great to meet you all in person next month!
We feel we have been able to create an excellent programme providing the attendees ample opportunities to be updated about a variety of topics and the latest discoveries and developments in Medical Mycology.
We also would like to take the opportunity to update you on how the preparations for the 10th TIMM are going.
Our colleagues in CongressCare are doing a marvelous job by organizing the 10th TIMM as an hybrid meeting, with using proven successful technical platforms to make this possible.
As of today, we have about 600 registrations with 300 participants coming to Aberdeen. Two-third of the speakers (60 out of 90) are planning to join in person as well.
Facilities are in place for our over 300 poster presenters to upload their poster in the electronic platform with additional audio/video possibilities, as well as their posters being printed and presented on site.
We are accommodating 7 company sponsored symposia and have the pleasure to welcome a large number of sponsors and exhibitors.
The 10th TIMM promises to become a special happening, as it is for many of us the first international meeting to meet friends and colleagues in person again, since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
We really hope you will have the opportunity to travel to Aberdeen to join us in person.
